Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Who do you support?
We specialise in non-verbal participants with complex communication needs, including people with autism and intellectual disabilities. Supporting participants who communicate without speech is who we are, not one service among many — our team is trained to interpret behaviour as communication.
Which areas of South East Melbourne do you cover?
We're a registered NDIS provider serving South East Melbourne, with a focus on the City of Casey council area and surrounding suburbs.
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. Respite Family Support has been a registered NDIS provider since 2021, with founder oversight on recruitment, onboarding, reporting and quality.
What services do you offer?
1:1 in-home support, sensory-aware respite, overnight and short-term respite, community access and participation, and prevention-based behaviour support — all designed around the individual participant.
My current provider isn't working out. Can you help with complex cases?
That's exactly what we were built for. Many of the participants we support have cycled through multiple providers. Refer your most complex participant and we'll talk you through how our prevention-first, consent-based model would apply.
